CB1 – A Significant Business Hub
We’re here to provide key information for those of you that live, work and play in the Station Road area of Cambridge.
CB1 is the revitalisation of the Station Road area of Cambridge, with a focus on more sustainable, safer and healthier community living. This new urban community has been designed to complement the elegance and charm of Cambridge, reflecting the city’s finest qualities.
The CB1 area is now home to top tech and corporate brands that have helped put Cambridge on the national and international map including Microsoft, Amazon, Apple, Samsung, nCipher Security, Deloitte, Carter Jonas and Birketts.
The BID is an initiative that supports Cambridge companies by creating opportunities for staff and business development, sharing knowledge and fostering Business to Business (B2B) trading. Their distinctive bowler-hatted ambassadors offer advice on more than 1,200 local shops, bars, cafes, attractions and entertainment services to tourists, workers and residents to help make the most of their time in Cambridge.
Meeting & Conference Rooms
The Clayton Hotel provides rooms & facilities including:
- 4 Rooms – the Marlowe Suite (up to 50 people), the Master’s Suite (four rooms for up to 12 people each or a large space for 120), the Library and the Garden Room (24 – 150 people)
- Facilities for Conferences, Parties, Launches and Receptions
- Food and drink available including dining options and canapés with tailor-made menus
Parking spaces are limited in CB1, but there are some good websites that help locate parking spaces and allow you to book online. You can find both short term (hourly and daily) as well as monthly parking. Simply type in where you want to park and the search results will show local availability and pricing.
