In the current climate of uncertainty with Coronavirus we will continue to provide community support to you as much as we can. We are committed to continue to work together to get through this. The support we provide will change slightly but we are still here and will try our very best to provide the assistance that is needed.
Support
Do you need support to help others in the CB1 Community? It may be support in coordinating getting food items for neighbours self-isolating/social distancing. If you do, Kyle is on hand to support in whatever way he can. Just let him know at kyle@communityregen.net
A really useful resource to help your neighbour who may be self-isolating and need help is this form from Viral Kindness to put through neighbours’ doors – https://cb1community.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/Coronavirus-support-form-PDF.pdf
Community Engagement support
The way we provide community engagement will change a little, but we will still be here. Here’s what we will continue to do:
- Kyle will continue working on CB1 Community engagement 3 days a week so continue to feel free to email, text and phone.
- Kyle is able to virtually meet with residents and businesses if you would like to meet (via Zoom, WhatsApp etc).
- Meetings (like Steering Group, Residents Meet, ASB Focus Group) will still go ahead as planned but we will have these meetings virtually.
- How virtual meetings are held will be clearly communicated, and we will ensure everyone who wants to join the meeting can join. Kyle will help you to do this.
- We will continue planning events and activities for when this current pandemic is over and we still want to hear your thoughts, issues and ideas.
- We will set up WhatsApp group chats if residents think this would be useful
- Kyle will communicate with residents and businesses on what support can be provided during the current Coronavirus situation
Events/activities happening
- Keep an eye on our Events page
Sources of support
There are lots of mutual support networks setting up around the country to help us get through this together. Here are some listed below. As we find more, we will add them hear. If you know of a network that may benefit local CB1 people, let Sam know and he can promote on here.
