Mill Park works – road reopen between 28th February and 6th April
The preparation works for the road resurfacing are complete as per the original strategy. Unfortunately there is a delay to the completion of the works based on having to order the resurfacing paving as special orders as these are a range of materials that are no longer available – this commands a lead time that does not lend itself to our original installation dates. This means that Mill Park road will be fully accessible again from both ends from 28th Feb 2021 with a view to reverting to the diversion system and operating in two halves for the paving works on 6th April 2021 with a view to completing the Mill Park resurfacing works on 7th May 2021.
Mill Park works – 18th January for 10 weeks
From Monday 18th January 2021 and running for 10 weeks, Mill Park Road will have road works taking place meaning the Station Road entrance to Mill Park will be closed.
The road works are taking place as part of the 3 and 4 Station Square development. Weston Homes are coordinating this and the works will include resurfacing, road and footpath works. This will begin on Monday 18th January and run until late March.
Whilst this is happening, there will be no access to Mill Park from Station Road. Instead, there will be a diversion running along Hills Road, past the Earl of Derby Pub and out past Telford House and Brunel House to enter Mill Park Road.
