On 9th November 2019, a Ceilidh event will be held at St Paul’s Church to raise money for Cambridge Street Aid which supports people on the streets.
Cambridge Street Aid have teamed up with local ceilidh dance band The Cyriacs to deliver a ceilidh to get people dancing and to raise money for people on the streets. Cambridge Street Aid started in 2016 and it supports people who are or have been on the streets by using donations to give grants. These grants can help pay off debt, buy some new clothes for a job interview and help towards accommodation. You can read about some of the grants Street Aid have awarded here.
The event will begin at 6.30pm and end at 10.30pm. Tickets for the event cost £12 for general admission and £10 for concessions (plus online booking fees). The ticket price covers snacks and soft drinks and the event is a completely ‘dry’ event where no alcohol will be served. No refunds are available.
